At Em-Power Foundation, we believe that empowering the next generation of First Nations leaders is key to creating lasting change in our communities. That’s why we’re absolutely thrilled to announce our new partnership with Young Change Agents on the First Nations Native Food Innovators program! This collaboration is all about helping First Nations youth turn their innovative ideas into real, thriving businesses, with a focus on native foods and cultural sustainability.

What is the First Nations Native Food Innovators Program?

The First Nations Native Food Innovators program is a powerful initiative designed to support young First Nations entrepreneurs as they create and develop businesses based on native foods. Through this program, participants will receive hands-on experience, mentorship, and access to a network of experts, helping them build skills in entrepreneurship, sustainability, and cultural preservation.

With the support of a recent Maker Grant, we are excited to see this program grow and reach more young people, providing them with the tools they need to succeed. Our partnership with Young Change Agents ensures that these young entrepreneurs will have the guidance and support they need to thrive in the world of business, while staying connected to their cultural roots.
